We are looking for a superb 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant looking to advance your experience in Education. If you are, we have a fantastic opportunity for you. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be supporting a student with moderate ASD in a 1:1 setting. Your 1:1 will be on a ECHP and you will so you will be adhering to the plan using your fantastic SEN experience.
The ideal SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
- Calm, proactive, and nurturing approach
- Comfortable supporting communication and sensory needs
- Basic understanding of IEPs and classroom adaptation
- Willingness to support children with personal care needs if required
Required SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEMH students.
- A solid understanding of SEMH and effective behaviour management strategies.
