Your Role as an SEMH Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH and additional learning needs.
  • Assist in the classroom and specialist provision, offering personalised strategies to help students manage their emotions and behaviours.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs, either in a school, care, or support setting.
  • A calm, confident, and resilient approach to supporting students with challenging behaviour.
  • A passion for making a difference and helping students build confidence, independence, and self-esteem.
