SEMH PSHE Teacher - Secondary School
Location: Bow, East London
Pay: 140- 180 per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Start: Immediate
Remedy Education are currently looking for an experienced SEMH Teacher / Tutor to join a secondary school in Bow, East London, starting immediately.
The successful candidate will have strong experience working with SEMH learners and will be confident delivering structured lessons to small groups of secondary-aged students.
The role will involve delivering set classes focused on PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education), supporting students with their learning, engagement and personal development.
The role:

Deliver PSHE lessons to small groups of secondary students

Support learners with SEMH needs

Create a calm, structured and positive learning environment

Adapt lessons to meet individual needs and abilities

Build positive relationships with students

Work closely with school staff to support behaviour, engagement and progress
The ideal candidate will have:

Strong experience working with SEMH learners

Experience working within a secondary school or similar setting

Confidence delivering lessons or structured sessions to small groups

Excellent behaviour management skills
-
A calm, patient and consistent approach
-
The ability to build positive relationships with challenging or vulnerable learners

Relevant teaching, tutoring or education experience
