SEN Teaching Assistants, Secondary School

Full-time or Part-time, hours 8.30am until 3.30pm

Remedy Education is recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils within a Secondary SEN school in Greenwich. We are looking for confident, caring and reliable TAs who have experience supporting young people with complex SEN and additional needs. The role will include:
- Supporting secondary-aged pupils with a range of SEN
- Providing personal care support where required
- Manual handling, including supporting pupils with mobility needs
- Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Helping pupils access learning and develop greater independence
- Supporting pupils' wellbeing, communication and engagement throughout the school day
We are looking for:
- Male and female SEN Teaching Assistants
- Previous SEN, complex needs, care or healthcare experience
- Experience and confidence with personal care
- Manual handling experience or training
- A patient, resilient and positive approach
- Candidates able to work full-time in Greenwich
