Remedy Education are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Kitchen Assistant to join an SEN school based in Redbridge. This is a part-time role working every Monday and Tuesday from 10:00am - 2:00pm. The school are looking for someone who can support the kitchen team with food preparation, serving meals and maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.

- Location: Redbridge
- Hours: Monday and Tuesday, 10:00am - 2:00pm

- Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
The Role:
- Support with basic food preparation and serving meals
- Assist with setting up and clearing down the dining area
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Follow food safety, allergy and dietary requirement procedures
- Wash up, clean equipment and keep work areas organised
- Support the kitchen team during lunch service
- Work safely and professionally within an SEN school environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous kitchen, catering or food service experience
- School, nursery or care setting experience is desirable
- A good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety
- A reliable, organised and positive approach
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A Food Hygiene certificate is desirable
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
