HR Administrator - The Role

As the HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school's HR operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing staff recruitment processes, including advertising roles, shortlisting, arranging interviews, and onboarding
  • Processing pre-employment checks such as DBS, references, right-to-work, and safeguarding documentation
  • Maintaining accurate staff records and updating the school's HR and MIS systems
  • Supporting with staff absences, leave requests, and attendance monitoring
  • Assisting with payroll preparation and liaising with external payroll providers
  • Supporting performance management processes, training records, and staff CPD bookings
  • Providing general HR and administrative support to SLT and the School Business Manager
