School Business Manager required for a large Primary school based in Greenwich. At Remedy Education, we have specialised in recruiting education staff to work in all kinds of roles in schools for over a decade. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic School Business Manager to work full-time at a fantastic Primary school based in Greenwich, South East London. Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we are looking for more high-quality Business Management professionals to work with these schools and ensure they continue to run smoothly.

We are looking for an innovative, efficient and cost-effective business manager to lead the school on a long-term basis. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 35 hours a week, all year round.

About the role

As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the non-teaching-related running of the school, as part of a dynamic school management team. Your duties as a Business Manager can include:

  • As part of the Senior Leadership Team, assist the Head Teacher and Governors to ensure that the Academy meets its educational aims from a business and resourcing perspective.
  • Accountable for the effective management of the Academy's financial resources at a strategic and tactical level, ensuring the most effective use of resources in support of the Academy's learning objectives.
  • Accountable for the management of property, facilities and the administration policy of the Academy.
  • Accountable for HR processes, recruitment and staff absence management across the Academy.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Relevant experience as an SBL/CFO or similar role.
  • Minimum level 2 (GCSE 4-9 or A-C) in Maths and English.
  • Diploma or certificate in school business managers qualification.
