Remedy Education are looking for a confident and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a supportive SEN school based in Romford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Primary Teacher who has experience supporting pupils with additional needs and can deliver engaging, adapted lessons within a nurturing SEN setting. The school are looking for someone patient, creative and organised who can help pupils build confidence, independence and make steady progress.

Role Details:

  • Position: Primary Teacher
  • Location: Romford
  • Pay: £180-£230 per day
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Start Date: ASAP / September roles available

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with SEN
  • Create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils with communication, confidence and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs and therapy teams
  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to individual learning targets
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • Encourage independence, participation and a love of learning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • SEN experience is highly desirable
  • A nurturing, patient and creative approach
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
  • Confidence adapting lessons for different learning needs
  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN
