Remedy Tutors is looking for a compassionate and experienced Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) to provide 1:1 face-to-face tuition for a young person in the PE11 area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by delivering personalised education within the student's home. All sessions will be supervised by a parent, carer or another appropriate adult.
The Role
- Location: PE11
- Pay: £28.00 - £32.00 per hour
- Hours: 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday (10 hours per week)
- Availability: Sessions to take place between 9am to 3pm
- Setting: Home-based, face-to-face tuition
You will be delivering a personalised curriculum with a focus on:
- Maths
- English
- PSHE
Learning objectives can also be embedded into other subject areas where appropriate, based on the student's individual needs. Tutors will be expected to work towards EHCP outcomes wherever possible.

They respond well to visual and kinaesthetic teaching approaches. Due to significant Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and communication needs, this student benefits from:
