Job Description
As a qualified English, Maths, and Science Tutor, you will provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students from primary to secondary school levels for the local authority of Sutton. You will be responsible for developing personalized lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Delivering tailored tutoring sessions in English, Maths, and Science.
- Developing customized lesson plans and learning materials.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing weekly constructive feedback.
- Encouraging and motivating students to reach their academic goals.
Qualifications
- A strong academic background in English, Maths, and Science.
- A degree / teaching qualification with DBS is mandatory
- Live in the Sutton area and are able to commute to the students home/ library.
- Teaching qualification and/or Previous tutoring or teaching experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for education.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
