Location: Wandsworth, South West London

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm

Pay: £16 - £18 per hour

Remedy Education are looking for a candidate to join a Primary school based in Wandsworth. You will be responsible for liaising daily with the Headteacher on premises issues, supervising the cleaners or the cleansing service of the school, ensuring the security of the school premises, and helping maintain the internal and external fabric of the school's premises as a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • General maintenance throughout the school
  • Reporting all defects which require specialist repair
  • Regular water temperature checks
  • Undertake minor repairs/DIY along with fixtures and fittings and painting (including desks, tables, chairs, etc.)
  • Reading, recording and reporting all meter readings as required by the Head Teacher and/or Energy Conservation Officer
  • General site supervision, including prevention of trespass and ensuring that unauthorised parking does not occur
  • Opening and closing of school gates

To Note:

  • You will be put through a DBS check (if you do not already have a DBS)
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Opportunity to be taken on permanently after 12 weeks
