About Us: Remedy Tutors provides tailored, one-to-one and small group tuition for children and young people with special educational needs. We work in partnership with schools, local authorities, and families to ensure every learner receives the personalised support they need to succeed.
The Role: We are looking for an experienced and passionate SEN Tutor with a PGCE or QTS who can commit to full-time hours. You will support learners across Croydon and South London, delivering engaging, individualised lessons that cater to a variety of SEN/SEMH needs.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver personalised lessons for students with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia)
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and abilities
- Create a safe, encouraging learning environment
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to parents, schools, and our team
- Maintain high professional standards and safeguarding practices
Requirements:
- PGCE / QTS or any recognised teaching qualification
- Full-time availability
- Experience teaching or tutoring students with SEN/SEMH
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
