School Administrator
Salary: £14 – £16 per hour
Hours: 12pm – 5pm
Location: Lambeth
Job Type: Ongoing – Temporary to Permanent

Remedy Education are currently seeking dedicated and experienced School Administration staff to join our agency in supporting a busy Primary school based in Lambeth. If you have a current Enhanced DBS and a proven track record in school administration, with experience using SIMS or Integris we want to hear from you. This is ongoing, temporary to permanent work which is perfect for professionals who are looking for flexibility and a great work-life balance, as you will be working within school hours.

School Administrator | Key Duties:

As a School Administrator, your role will be crucial in maintaining the efficient operation of the school office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Front Desk Duties: Greeting visitors, parents, and students, and providing them with necessary information and assistance.
  2. Administrative Support: Assisting with data entry, filing, and maintaining student records.
  3. Communication: Handling phone calls and emails, ensuring effective communication within the school community.
  4. Attendance Monitoring: Tracking and recording student attendance and liaising with relevant staff.
  5. General Office Tasks: Assisting with photocopying, distributing mail, and managing office supplies.
  6. Compliance: Ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed, given your Enhanced DBS status.
  7. Ad-Hoc Tasks: Supporting staff and students as needed during busy periods.

School Administrator | Key Requirements:

  1. A valid Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this role.
  2. Previous experience in school administration.
  3. Strong organisational and time management skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  8. Previous experience with Integris/SIMS is essential.
