Core Subject Tutor β Harlow (with SEN experience)
Location: Harlow, Essex
Start Date: ASAP/September
Subjects: English and/or Maths (KS2-KS4)
Rate: 25- 35 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract: Part-time, flexible hours
We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Core Subject Tutors to support young learners in the Harlow area on a 1:1 basis. The ideal tutor will have experience teaching English and/or Maths and a good understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly Autism, ADHD or SEMH.
This role is perfect for a tutor who can deliver engaging, structured lessons while also taking a nurturing and flexible approach to meet the individual needs of the student.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 tuition in English and/or Maths tailored to the learner\βs level and pace

Adapt teaching strategies to support SEN needs and EHCP targets

Build a positive, trusting relationship with the learner to boost confidence and engagement

Track and report on progress to parents and/or professionals
Requirements:

Experience teaching/tutoring Core Subjects
