Full Time 36 hours per week 52 weeks. Remedy Education are working with a fantastic specialist SEN school in Newham who are looking for a reliable, proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a background in site management, facilities, premises, maintenance or caretaking who takes pride in keeping a school site safe, secure and well maintained. The school supports pupils with autism and complex needs, so they are looking for someone who is calm, professional, hands-on and happy to play an important role in creating a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
The role will include:
- Opening and closing the school site
- General maintenance, repairs and site checks
- Health & safety checks and compliance
- Supporting with security, contractors and deliveries
- Ensuring the school is clean, safe and well presented
- Occasional evening or weekend work when required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a school, site, facilities or maintenance role
- Good practical maintenance skills
- A proactive and reliable approach
- Strong communication skills
- A good understanding of health & safety
- A willingness to support a busy SEN school environment
