Remedy Education is recruiting an experienced School Business Manager for a specialist SEMH school in Plaistow.
We are looking for a confident, organised and experienced professional who can take responsibility for the school's business functions and work closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing school budgets, finance, payroll and procurement
- Overseeing HR processes, staffing and school administration
- Managing and supporting administrative and premises teams
- Overseeing contractors, building maintenance and facilities budgets
- Ensuring health & safety, safeguarding and statutory compliance
- Supporting the Headteacher and senior leadership with school operations and strategic planning
Requirements
- Previous School Business Manager or equivalent senior school management experience
- Strong financial, HR and operational management skills
- Excellent understanding of school health & safety and compliance
- Confident managing staff, budgets and multiple responsibilities
- SEN/SEMH school experience desirable
