Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity in Maidenhead?
Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school environment, working with students who have a range of additional learning needs.
The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN.
- Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
- Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team.
- Help students access the curriculum and develop greater independence.
- Support students with needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other learning difficulties.
- Assist with behaviour management and promote positive engagement.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with students.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- Patient, caring and resilient approach.
- Confident supporting students with challenging behaviour.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passionate about helping young people reach their potential.
- Good understanding of safeguarding.
