SEN Teaching Assistant – Maidenhead

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire Salary: Β£90–£125 per day Contract: Full-time, long-term Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity in Maidenhead?

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school environment, working with students who have a range of additional learning needs.

The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN.
  • Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team.
  • Help students access the curriculum and develop greater independence.
  • Support students with needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other learning difficulties.
  • Assist with behaviour management and promote positive engagement.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with students.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Patient, caring and resilient approach.
  • Confident supporting students with challenging behaviour.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Passionate about helping young people reach their potential.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding.
