We are working with a supportive secondary school in South London who are looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant with a background in English, Science, Maths or Psychology. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is considering a career in education, psychology or teaching, and is keen to gain hands-on classroom experience supporting pupils at secondary level.
The role:
- Supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 in lessons and small groups
- Providing targeted academic support in your subject specialism
- Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN
- Assisting with behaviour management and classroom engagement
- Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to support progress
The ideal candidate:
- Holds a degree in English, Science, Maths or Psychology
- Is passionate about education and supporting young people
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
