Remedy Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students in a welcoming and inclusive school in London. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning and reach their full potential. The school supports students with a range of needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties, and is looking for someone patient, proactive, and committed to making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN
- Supporting pupils with learning, behaviour, and emotional development
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Adapting resources and activities to meet individual learning needs
- Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence
- Supporting a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Patient, resilient and supportive approach
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
