We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate SEN Science Teacher to join a specialist school based in Enfield from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is committed to supporting students with additional needs and delivering engaging Science lessons within a structured and supportive environment.
The Role
- You will be teaching Science to students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.
- The school is looking for a teacher who can adapt lessons to meet individual needs while maintaining strong classroom engagement and behaviour management.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS2, KS3 and KS4.
- Differentiating lessons to support varying abilities and learning needs.
- Support students both academically and emotionally.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals.
- Track progress and contribute towards EHCP targets and reviews.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience working within SEN settings or supporting students with additional needs.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Passion for Science and inclusive education.
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
