A very supportive and Ofsted-rated Outstanding Secondary school in Greenwich is looking for a dedicated Secondary SEN Teacher to work with students across Key Stage 3-4 with SEMH and ASD.

The school follows a highly adapted curriculum, combining academic learning with life skills, sensory integration and communication development approaches to help every student achieve their full potential. Staff work closely together with therapists and external professionals to provide strong support for both students and teachers.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver personalised lessons using a differentiated and adapted secondary curriculum
- Support students with a range of complex needs, including ASD, communication difficulties and sensory needs
- Work closely with therapists and other professionals
- Create a structured and supportive classroom environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
- Lead and work closely with the classroom support team
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience or strong understanding of supporting students with ASD and complex needs
- Secondary school teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
