Are you an experienced and passionate PMLD Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role where you can make a genuine difference? A specialist SEN school based in Waltham Forest is looking for a dedicated teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with pupils with additional needs and wants to be part of a supportive, nurturing school environment.

- Supportive Team - Work alongside experienced Teaching Assistants, therapists and wider support staff to provide the best possible outcomes for pupils.

The Role
- Teach a small class of pupils within a specialist SEN setting.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons based around individual needs.
- Support pupils with a range of SEN and complex learning needs.
- Develop positive relationships with pupils and create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and other professionals.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute towards EHCP targets and reviews.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet different learning styles and abilities.
Who We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
- Experience working within an SEN setting is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD, SLD, PMLD or other additional needs.
- A patient, creative and nurturing approach to teaching.
- Confident working as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
