You will be teaching both ESOL and Maths to learners aged 16-19, delivering engaging and structured lessons in line with the curriculum. This role requires someone confident in working within a college environment and supporting students with varying needs and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver ESOL and Maths lessons in line with awarding body curriculum
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Support learners aged 16-19, including vulnerable students
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback in line with curriculum expectations
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with college staff and support teams

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 1 year experience teaching in a London college setting (long-term role)
  • Experience teaching both ESOL and Maths
  • Strong understanding of examining board curriculum for ESOL and Maths
  • Experience working with vulnerable learners aged 16-19
  • Strong classroom management and engagement skills

Qualifications

  • Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET)
  • CertTESOL (Trinity College London)
  • CELTA
