Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and friendly Midday Meal Supervisor to join a welcoming school based in Lewisham, South East London. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time school hours, supporting pupils during lunchtime and helping to create a safe, positive and calm environment throughout the school day. The school are open to candidates working either 10am-2pm or 11am-1pm, depending on availability and the needs of the school.
The Role:
- Supervising pupils during lunchtime and break periods
- Supporting children in the dining hall and playground
- Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
- Helping pupils with routines, transitions and general support
- Ensuring pupils are safe, settled and well supervised
- Supporting children with additional needs where required
- Reporting any concerns to the relevant staff member
- Helping maintain a calm, clean and positive lunchtime environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children or young people
- Be friendly, patient and reliable
- Have strong communication skills
- Be confident supporting behaviour in a school setting
- Be able to work well as part of a team
