Remedy Education are looking for a strong SEN Teacher to join a school based in Lewisham.
This role is due to start at the end of September and will run for the first half term, with the potential to continue for longer if it is a good fit for both the teacher and the school.
The school are looking for a confident and experienced teacher who has a strong background supporting pupils with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons, adapt learning to meet individual needs, and create a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment.

The Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEN
- Adapt teaching to meet a range of individual learning needs
- Create a structured, supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils with communication, engagement and emotional regulation
- Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO and wider support team
- Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning
- Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching experience
- Strong SEN experience is essential
- Experience teaching pupils with a range of additional xgikmsk needs
- Confidence adapting lessons and resources to suit individual learners
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN
