Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? Remedy Tutors is looking for an experienced SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one support for a Key Stage 3 learner in the LE2 area of Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated tutor to make a lasting impact through personalised tuition while benefiting from competitive rates of pay and consistent weekly hours.

Please note: We are ideally seeking a male tutor for this placement due to the individual needs of the learner.

About the Role

You'll be delivering tailored 1:1 tuition to a KS3 learner, helping them build confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and achieve positive educational outcomes. This is a long-term opportunity offering 10 hours per week, working on: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. The placement is due to begin on 2nd September 2026 and will continue on an ongoing basis.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one tuition
  • Plan sessions tailored to the learner's individual needs
  • Build a positive, supportive relationship with the learner
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback
  • Adapt teaching strategies to maximise engagement and achievement
  • Promote confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning
