Remedy Education are looking for an experienced TA or HLTA to work within a Resource Base in a school based in Lambeth. This role is ideal for someone with strong SEMH experience who is confident supporting pupils with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs. The school are looking for someone calm, resilient and proactive, with the ability to build positive relationships, support emotional regulation and help pupils engage in learning within a structured setting.
Role Details:

The Role:
- Support pupils within the school's Resource Base
- Work with pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
- Use Team Teach strategies where required to support safe behaviour management
- Apply trauma-informed approaches to help pupils feel safe, regulated and ready to learn
- Support learning on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
- Help pupils with emotional regulation, routines and positive engagement
- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, pastoral staff and the wider support team
- Maintain clear boundaries and a calm, consistent approach throughout the day
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong experience working in an SEMH unit or similar provision
- Team Teach training is essential
- Trauma-informed training is essential
- Previous TA, HLTA or behaviour support experience
- Confidence supporting pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour
- A calm, resilient and patient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils who need additional structure and care
