We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching in English, Maths, and ICT (up to Level 2) to a diverse range of learners. You will support learners in developing essential skills, achieving qualifications, and progressing into further education or employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills lessons.
- Provide both group and one-to-one learner support.
- Conduct initial assessments and track learner progress.
- Adapt teaching to meet different learning styles and needs.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievement.
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or Level 3 AET).
- Functional Skills qualification or subject-related degree.
- Experience delivering Functional Skills or similar courses.
- Good understanding of assessment and quality processes.
