We are excited to be recruiting Support Workers for a brand-new Special Needs Sixth Form in the London Borough of Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming team supporting students aged 16-19 with a range of learning difficulties, helping them develop the confidence and life skills they need for greater independence. Whether you have experience in an SEN school, care home, supported living setting, or supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or physical disabilities, we'd love to hear from you. We work exclusively with a number of 'Good' and 'Outstanding' specialist provisions and are looking for compassionate professionals who are passionate about improving young people's lives. The Role As a Support Worker, you will: Support students with their individual learning, care and independence goals. Follow personalised care and support plans. Help develop essential life skills, including cooking, shopping, budgeting and independent living. Encourage positive social interaction, confidence and emotional wellbeing. Work closely with teachers, therapists and the wider support team to provide outstanding care.We're Looking For The ideal Support Worker will have: Experience in an SEN school, care home, supported living, residential care or similar setting. Experience supporting people with learning difficulties, autism, mental health needs or physical disabilities. A patient, caring and proactive approach.
