We are currently seeking a supportive and engaging Maths and English Tutor to work with a Year 10 student in Thurrock (RM15). The role involves delivering personalised tuition in line with the student's EHCP requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one Maths and English tuition to a Year 10 pupil
- Deliver lessons tailored to the student's individual learning needs and EHCP outcomes
- Support engagement, confidence and academic progress
- Adapt teaching methods and resources appropriately
- Maintain clear communication regarding progress and attendance
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Experience supporting secondary-aged students
- Good knowledge of Maths and English at KS4 level
- Experience working with EHCP students or additional needs is desirable
- Patient, flexible and encouraging approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Tuition to take place across 2 days per week
