French Teacher
Remedy are looking for a French teacher for a prestigious secondary school that is committed to providing excellent education and fostering a nurturing learning environment for our students in Basildon. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher to join our dynamic faculty team. This is a full-time position with an immediate start.
Responsibilities for MFL Teacher:
- Develop and implement engaging French and Spanish language lessons aligned with the school\βs curriculum and educational standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters their love for the French and Spanish language and culture.
- Deliver effective instruction that meets the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share resources, best practices, and innovative teaching strategies.
- Monitor and support students\β academic and personal growth, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Establish open and regular communication with parents/guardians, providing updates on students\β progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\βs degree in Education, French and Spanish Language, or a related field. A master\βs degree is desirable, ECT\βs are welcome as well.
- Teaching certification or qualification recognised by the relevant educational authorities.
- Fluent in French and Spanish, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of French and Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and culture.
- Proven experience in teaching French and Spanish at the secondary school level.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.
- Familiarity with technology-enhanced teaching methods and digital learning tools.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
