We are working with a welcoming and well-run school looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to support their busy finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with school-based finance experience who is confident working independently and can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raising and processing purchase orders (POs)
  • Managing invoices and supporting the payment process
  • Using Google Sheets to track budgets, spend, and financial data
  • Supporting day-to-day finance administration
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal staff
  • Assisting with reconciliations and general finance duties

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school finance/admin role
  • Strong working knowledge of Bromcom
  • Confident using Google Sheets / Excel
  • Experience with purchase orders and invoicing
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
