Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School – Lewisham
Contract Type: Full-time (term-time only)

Salary: £100 – £120 per day

Are you passionate about giving children the best possible start in their learning journey? Do you have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years and a nurturing, enthusiastic approach?

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team at a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Kingston. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive school environment and make a meaningful impact on young learners during their most important developmental years.

What you\’ll do

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to children as needed
  • Observe and monitor children\’s development, contributing to learning journeys and assessments
  • Foster strong relationships with children, staff, and parents

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or school EYFS setting
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
