Remedy Tutors is recruiting compassionate tutors to support children and young people with a range of additional educational needs.
Students may experience difficulties with communication, social interaction, concentration, emotional regulation or academic progress. Some may have autism, ADHD, dyslexia or SEMH needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach both Maths and English.
- Deliver lessons tailored to the student's current ability.
- Break down learning into manageable activities.
- Adapt resources to support individual learning styles.
- Encourage confidence, independence and engagement.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback.
Requirements
- Must be able to teach Maths and English.
- SEN/SEND experience is desirable.
- Understanding of individual learning needs.
- Patient, consistent and adaptable approach.
