Early Years Teacher - Enfield
Remedy Education are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join a welcoming setting based in Enfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Early Years Teacher with strong EYFS experience who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs. The school is looking for someone who can create a nurturing, engaging and stimulating learning environment while helping children develop their communication, confidence, independence and social skills.
Role Details
- Position: Early Years Teacher
- Location: Enfield, North London
- Start Date: September
- Pay: Β£200-Β£250 per day, depending on experience
- Hours: Full-time, Part-time or Contract
- School Type: Specialist SEN / Early Years Setting
The Role
As an Early Years SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate EYFS learning activities
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
- Support children with a range of additional and special educational needs
- Use play-based and structured learning to encourage communication, curiosity and independence
- Adapt activities and teaching approaches to meet individual children's needs
- Monitor progress through observation and assessment and use this to inform planning
- Support children's social, emotional, physical and educational development
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of the SEN team
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and understand their individual needs
- Maintain clear routines and promote positive behaviour
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers and other professionals where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate Early Years teaching qualification
- Strong experience working within an EYFS setting
- Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable
- A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Confidence adapting learning to meet individual needs
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A calm, patient, nurturing and positive approach
- The ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
- A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their potential
