Behaviour Mentor (SEMH)

Daily Rate: £100 - £130 (based on experience)
Hours: Full-time | 8:30am - 3:45pm
Contract: Long-term
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the empathy, patience, and resilience to support children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
Remedy Education is working with a welcoming and creative SEMH primary school in Enfield that's looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to help children overcome barriers, build confidence, and thrive in a supportive learning environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
- Supporting students with Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs)
- Using a calm, child-centred approach to manage challenging behaviour
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom experience
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and the pastoral team
- Tracking pupil progress and contributing to behaviour reports
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a primary or SEN school setting
- A strong background supporting children with SEMH or behavioural challenges
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A calm, proactive, and empathetic approach
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
