Early Years Teaching Assistant - Redbridge

An \'Outstanding\' Primary School in the London Borough of Redbridge is seeking a passionate and motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team for an ASAP start. This is a full-time, long-term role for the remainder of the academic year.


What will you be doing?
  • Supporting children aged 3-4 years across Nursery and Reception
  • Delivering small group Phonics, Reading, Writing and Early Maths sessions
  • Providing support to children with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN)

This opportunity also includes the potential for a Schools Direct teacher training placement for the right candidate!


The ideal Early Years Teaching Assistant will have:
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or Childcare
  • A degree from a reputable university (desirable)
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • A positive, energetic attitude and ability to work in a large team
