Experienced Dyslexia Tutor! We are looking for a dedicated Dyslexia Tutor to provide tailored, one-on-one support for our child. If you're passionate about helping children with dyslexia unlock their full potential and build their confidence, we would love to hear from you! What We're Looking For: Experience with Dyslexia: We need a tutor with proven experience in working with children with dyslexia, using specialised techniques and strategies to help them succeed. Tailored Teaching Methods: We are looking for someone who can create a personalised learning plan that addresses our child's unique strengths and challenges. Patience and Encouragement: It's important that the tutor is patient, understanding, and able to foster a supportive environment where our child feels encouraged to learn and improve. Focus on Literacy Skills: We would like to focus on improving reading, writing, and spelling skills, using multi-sensory teaching methods and other effective dyslexia strategies. Flexible and Engaging Sessions: We're looking for someone who can adapt to our child's learning pace, making lessons engaging and fun while ensuring real progress.This tutor role involves: planning lessons and resources around the student's needs. This could be in the core subjects or life skills; plan and deliver engaging sessions. apply skills to raise pupils' confidence. manage children with challenging behaviour. track the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide monthly reports. potentially engage in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student, learn about visuals to communicate in some cases.
