We are currently seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Havering area.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
The Role
- Supervising classes during teacher absence
- Delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining lesson flow
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensuring a safe, focused, and positive learning environment
- Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson
Requirements
- Previous experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Confidence working across Key Stages 3 and 4
- A professional, flexible, and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
