Job Description

Complex Needs Learning Support Workers - Lewisham \\n\\nFull-time and Part-time \\nMonday-Friday\\n8:30am - 3.30pm\\nSEN Schools\\nASAP start We're working closely with a number of special schools in the Lewisham area that have various roles available ASAP. \\n\\nThese schools are a mixture of SEMH & more complex needs schools looking after students aged 11-16. The schools ideally require staff who are available on a full-time basis, so this would be ideally 5 days a week on a long-term basis (but with short days!)\\n\\nThe role\\n\\nThe role involves general classroom support as well as 1-1 support while working closely with colleagues in providing support outside of the classroom.

Due to the needs of the students (SEMH, ASD, Complex Needs, SLD, MLD) it is essential that you have worked with special needs in some capacity.\\n\\nWorking in these schools is incredibly rewarding. You have a chance to make a real difference in these children's lives but it's not always easy! You must be resilient, patient, adaptable, enthusiastic and confident in managing challenging behaviour.\\n\\nWorking with Remedy: \\n\\nWe are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.\\n\\nYour dedicated consultant will invest time to understand your experience, skill-set and what your ideal role looks like.
