Nursery Manager - Colchester Full-Time | Permanent | Immediate Opportunity | £ Remedy Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to join a welcoming nursery setting in Colchester on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about childcare, leadership and creating a positive environment where children can thrive. The Role As Nursery Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education and safeguarding are maintained. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations and smooth running of the nursery. Lead, motivate and support a team of Early Years practitioners. Ensure the nursery provides a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment. Maintain high standards of childcare, learning and development in line with the EYFS framework. Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times. Build positive relationships with parents, families and external professionals. Monitor children's development and ensure individual learning needs are supported. Manage staff rotas, recruitment, training and performance where required. Ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements and relevant statutory regulations. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience in a Nursery Manager or Senior Leadership role within an Early Years setting. A relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (Level 5 or 6 desirable). Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements. Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. Experience managing and developing a team. A genuine passion for children's learning, development and wellbeing.
