Remedy Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in South London, with a focus on Key Stage 1 (KS1) teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys working with younger pupils and is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. The role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons to a KS1 class in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and targeted support
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure consistent progress
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or Year 2)
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- Be passionate about early learning and committed to delivering high-quality education
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS certificate
