Remedy Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated PMLD Teacher to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) in a specialist educational setting in East London.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a committed teacher who understands the importance of personalised learning, sensory engagement and creating a safe, nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience supporting pupils with PMLD or complex additional needs.
- Be confident planning and delivering individualised lessons tailored to pupils' abilities and developmental needs.
- Understand sensory-based learning and alternative communication methods.
- Have a patient, caring and adaptable approach.
- Be confident working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals.
- Be committed to supporting pupils' communication, independence and overall development.
- Previous experience in a specialist SEN setting would be highly beneficial.
