Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and payments in line with school financial procedures
- Assist in budget monitoring and provide administrative support to the School Business Manager
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenditure, and financial transactions
- Liaise with suppliers, staff, and external agencies regarding financial queries
- Support the preparation of financial reports for leadership and governors
- Ensure compliance with all school finance and audit policies
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a school finance or administrative role (SIMS/FMS experience desirable)
- Strong numeracy and IT skills, particularly in Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
