About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will become an integral part of a highly supportive specialist classroom team, working with deaf pupils aged 4-11 who communicate primarily through British Sign Language. Your role will involve:
- Supporting pupils both academically and socially throughout the school day
- Using BSL confidently to support communication and learning access
- Signing instructions, explanations, and classroom discussions clearly and effectively
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and positive relationships
- Working closely with teachers, speech and language professionals, and hearing specialists

The Ideal Candidate Will
- Hold a minimum BSL Level 2 qualification
