As a Complex Needs Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex learning needs
- Supporting children with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties)
- Assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily routines where required, always ensuring dignity and respect
- Adapting and delivering learning activities to meet individual needs and abilities
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to support holistic pupil development
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

- Experience working with SEN, complex needs, or vulnerable children/adults (desirable, not essential)
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach, even in challenging situations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships

- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs to thrive
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
