Remedy is recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant with British Sign Language qualification or experience. This role is a 1:1 position where the teaching assistant will work with a pupil who has speech, language and communication needs. The pupil communicates through bespoke resources and sign language, making this an essential requirement for the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • Be encouraging and supportive.
  • Have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding children's development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the student.

Job Specification:

  • Supervise and provide learning support for a child on a one-to-one basis.
