Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a strong and reliable Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to work within a school based in the Stratford area of East London from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, SEMH, SEN or additional needs.
The school is looking for a confident support assistant who can provide structure, encouragement and positive guidance throughout the school day.
The Role- Supporting pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement
- Working 1:1 and with small groups of pupils
- Helping pupils remain focused and involved in classroom learning
- Supporting behaviour plans and school routines
- Using calm and consistent de-escalation strategies
- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff
- Encouraging positive choices, confidence and independence
- Have experience in behaviour support, SEN, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching or care
- Be confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
- Have a calm, firm and professional approach
- Be reliable, proactive and able to build strong relationships
- Be confident working in a busy school environment
- Be available from September
- £100-£117 per day
- Stratford, East London location
