The Role As an Autism SEN Teaching Assistant, you ll provide tailored support to pupils with Autism, helping them to access learning, build confidence and develop both socially and academically.
Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Assisting the Teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
Using positive behaviour strategies to encourage learning and independence.
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
Helping to create a calm, supportive and nurturing classroom environment.
