ASD Learning Assistant | Secondary School | Immediate Interviews Job Description Role: ASD Learning Assistant Start: ASAP Location: Islington, North London Contract: Full time Rate: £90-£115 per day School Type: Secondary We are looking for a dedicated and experienced ASD Learning Assistant (ADHD) to support a KS3 child with moderate ADHD. The student is progressing academically however he needs help with his concentration and interacting with her peers. ASD Learning Assistant | The ideal candidate: Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods. Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
